FACULTY OF HUMANITIES - ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE
Rules
The students who successfully complete their studies receive an undergraduate diploma and the title of English philologist. It is required to satisfy the necessary conditions indicated in Cappadocia University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Academic Education and Exam Regulations, article 36; complete the course load of at least 240 ECTS credits and achieve at least 2.00 grade point average out of 4.00. As an additional requirement, the students are required to successfully complete at least one departmental elective course every semester starting in the third semester. In other words, the students must successfully complete at least six departmental elective courses, and at least three of these courses must be elected from either one of the three lines of electives: British Cultural Studies, American Culture and Literature, and Translation.
