Occupational Profiles Of Graduates
The great majority of the graduates of the English Language and Literature programs are employed as English teachers at state and private schools and in private foreign language teaching centers. Those graduates who complete further studies in Turkey or abroad will also have opportunities to be employed as faculty at the English Language and Literature departments in Turkish universities. The graduates may also work as translators and find jobs which require cultural and literary knowledge, such as those in tourism, ministries, banks, state and private media institutions. They can also work as writers and/or editors.
